I don't normally write reviews, but at the news of Moonbin's death, I felt I should. I am a great admirer of the Korean culture. My appreciation was even more solidified after spending several days traveling about South Korea last month. Though in my 40s before I was introduced to Asian film and television, I now spend (easily) 90% of my viewing time watching Rakuten Viki. Along the journey, I had become familiar with the group, Astro, and had tried to get tickets to see them in Las Vegas in 2019. The first thing I thought when I heard today's distressing news was, "No, not another young, Korean artist!!" The next thing I thought was, "Oh my goodness. The last article of clothing I bought from Chingu was Moonbin's sweatshirt in navy." I must let you know that I absolutely I love that sweatshirt! It fits nicely, is so soft, and it's a beautiful shade of blue. More importantly, however, is the fact that too many young Koreans have passed. My prayers to the Korean people as they continue to mourn yet another loss.
